There has been some stinkers of course but it's been a really enjoyable spectacle on the pitch so far. Long may it last.

Again, a deserved win.
Germany looked sluggish. Caught out by a long ball.
Musiala looks a player.

Time for a tea ceremony.

England score six
Argentina lose to Saudi
Germany lose to Japan

Somewhere, there is an England fan with a lamp who has gone much too early here...

Has there been a "good" game yet? It's all crackers or stinkers. Maybe US v Wales was alright?

Great point. I guess US v Wales wasn't a cracker, but it was one of those games that was intriguing even though it wasn't a cracker.

Oh, and whilst I think about it, I love McCoist as a co-commentator as much as I dislike Hartson.

Spain have the right answer for national anthems - music, no words.

Costa Rica - not so much. Way too long.

One of only 4 national anthems with no words.

Be interesting what they claim the attendance of this Spain Costa Rica game is, seem to be a fair few empty seats.

To be fair, absolutely anyone could put loads past Costa Rica.

What is Vincent Kompany doing in Qatar as a pundit.
Has he given the Burnley players the month off? Are they not training or has he just got his coaches doing it?
Strange.
