I was at that Northampton 2-6 game with my dad. It was notable as all 5 Swindon forwards scored (in those days teams had 5 forwards ;-) ) Some well known players in the Northampton squad : ex England Ron Flowers and Bob Hatton, and ex-Town players Dennis Brown and Eric Weaver. |

Looked like a great performance on Saturday based on the highlights. Attacking force seems to be gelling nicely and finally getting a decent number of goals. Let’s hope we can string together some consistency. Williams’ absence will present an opportunity for the likes of Roberts and Reed to stake a claim, although for the latter to be included you would think a change of system may be required.
