Really strange, chaotic game that, but a win. Thank fuck for that.

Wialliams - I don't think he was great, but he kept working and was one of the rare players who could create something when he was meaning to.

Plenty of positives but quite a mixed evening for many. Williams from Blake Tracy for me.

I thought so too and wavered about giving him my vote but opted for Williams by a whisker.

Yeah, Williams.
A mention for MacDonald. Looked like he won all of his defensive interventions. Headers, blocks, interceptions & tackles when needed.

He’s a bit of a reverse Conroy. He was great with the ball at his feet but no so much when it came to the basics of being a CB.
Takes yer pick which one is the better option in L2.

Looking at the votes seems I'm in the minority but I thought Gladwin was superb last night. Everything good went through him and he was the metronome last night. I know Williams got the sponsors MOM and he played very well also, have we now found his best position wide right with freedom to get to the byline or cut inside? I also thought Shade played well last night, obviously fortunate with his goal and wouldn't it have been so very Swindon had he injured his foot kicking the camera equipment as he was celebrating!

Literally this, he's solid at defending, just hopeless at passing. Thought Lavenier, Gladwin, Reed all decent enough. Williams at his best. Khan and Wakeling good subs and Wakeling MOM for me, didnt stop when he came on.

Williams easily our best player, never stopped running, interesting as I thought Gladwin was really poor again yesterday and slowed the game down every time he got the ball.
Khan and Wakeling made us look better when they came on, and for all his mistakes I thought MacDonald did really well when actually defending. I thought Shade was poor too other than his goal which was flukey to say the least.
Brynn made one slip but couldnt do much for either of the goals but did really well too.

Fascinating reading that JJ. I felt Gladwin and Shade were both positive and whilst I see what you say about Gladders, don't feel he slowed us at all, in fact I felt that he made us tick the whole game. Opinions and arseholes my friend!
