Awful 1st half, but an encouraging 2nd half.

The ref absolutely ruined the game, I reckon McKirdy put him in a bad mood with his constant fucking whinging from the off. He got booked for mouthing off, but to be fair, the 2nd didn't look like a foul let alone a 2nd yellow card.

An unbelievable save from Brynn 2nd half and a very good performance form him, and deserved MOM.

Hutton was excellent 2nd half, oddly becoming more attacking when reverting to right back.

Wakeling works hard and was unlucky not to win another penalty, i've seen them given.
Darcy looked very tidy and lively when coming on, could be our replacement for Payne.

I think we have a useful looking squad, more options this season than last.
We desperately need a goalscorer though.

Maybe with McKirdy suspended we can see how Wakeling and Adeloye partner up.

I found the management staff in the dugout OTT.
Lindsay, Mildenhall and the other two twats, barking orders over each other all game, must've been counter-productive to have so many chiefs trying to be heard.

McKirdy will be facing a long ban after trashing the referees changing room.

Sorry, what?

Adeloye had a great opportunity and appeared to have no idea of what to do with it
Should have passed it to Willaims who was overlapping

That Jason Collard posted a lot of bs on there last year as well I seem to recall.

Who were the ‘fans’ abusing Brynn before the match? Good on Wardy for having a word.

I wonder what stats/data made us sign him!

I don't want to single you out but I'm going to single you up. you come across as a bit obsessed with the while stat idea even when explained numerous times how it works. I know it may be tongue in cheek but an observation

That performance should shut them up too.

Bring poor on your debut/last preseason game is fair talking point along fans.

But to have a go at him before the game? That's just stupid.

That save in the second half was outstanding.

This worries me.

Sandros recruitment has been ok. We need a proper left back and another striker.

But the reason we have been terrible is not due to having poor players - it's clearly because of the tactical setup / coaching.

Lindsay's coaching team seem to loud wide boys (fit nicely with some of the board members etc) and is he strong enough in his first job to pull them into line and put his imprint (if it exists) into the team

Need to:
- stop playing 3-5-2
- only play Reed if we actually want to dominate the game, rather than sit back and hoof into the channels as last week and 1st half today
- create some clear patterns of play

2nd half performance buys a bit of time but I can't say I've seen much evidence that we are going to outplay and/or outsmart enough teams, despite some decent players
