Was very shocked today when he got the bullet.
Their new(ish) American owner is pretty quick to dismiss underperforming managers, I know a lot of their fans liked Clemence but only 12 wins in 35 games is not great with the 3rd biggest budget in the divison behind Stockport and Wrexham yet only finishing in 12th is pretty poor.

Wellens signs new deal at Orient

So the "interest" from Barnsley was probably leaked and utilised by Wellens then, good work Smiley

Aussie manager Dominik Thalhammer signs contract with Barnsley only to have it cancelled as he fails the application for a work permit leaving them without a manager for the upcoming play offs.

The application was refused 2 days ago so looks like they needed him!

That feels a bit unreasonable, 7th in the Championship.

Not overly surprised, that squad underachieved and they backed well in January

I have heard his name linked to us recently, decent budget for him probably 3 times the budget he would have had if he came to us.

Crawley refused Gills permission to speak to Lindsey apparently and also fully understandable going into the play offs.

Plus what’s sort of cunting manager would start talking to other clubs whilst his team are in the play offs…oh wait…worked out well didn’t it Ben?
