4-2 Wimbledon, they were 3 up at half time. Taank penalty and Hamilton for us (all according to Dons Twitter)

There is an STFC Academy Twitter FYI, it had updates last night.

What's the latest on the game v Barrow tomorrow. Is it on or pending pitch inspection which would surely have taken place today due to the distance🤔

Barrow fans on this thread don't sound very hopeful.

Cheers Ozzie, if in doubt surely call the game off this morning before the players left.

er, quick question. Were we the first ex-premier league team relegated to the bottom tier?

Could have sworn it was Bradford, but wiki says no unless I've missed something across league rebrands

Oldham - were in the prem with us, but 97-98 were in Div 2.

Edit, bollocks. Div 2 was the league 1 equivalent then.

….it was us.
We got relegated to L2 in the 2005/06 season.

Bradford got relegated to L2 in the 2007/08 season.

However, thankfully we won’t be first ex Premier League team to be relegated out of the football league as Oldham have already done so

Oldham didn’t come down into the 4th tier till 2017/18
After a mundane 21 seasons in the 3rd tier.

Yeah, got league 2 and div 2 confused. Reg would be proud.

Oldham had two top 6 finishes in those 21 seasons.

Remarkably (…or depressingly) in the 8 season before they were relegated they finished;

15th x2
16th x2
17th x3
19th x1
