After the misery of last season I haven't kept my eye in enough to know the runners and riders, outside of understanding that Wrexham, Gills and Stockport have a few bob, so not much point in putting together a big prediction other than to say I think we will just miss out on the play offs this year. And I think we go out of every cup in the first round, just because Flynn never has before!

League Two Winners - Stockport
Promoted autos - Salford, Mansfield
playoffs - Bradford, Wrexham, Walsall, Doncaster
Relegated - Newport, Crawley
L2 top scorer  - Danny Johnson

Swindon Town
 - finishing position - 11th
 - top goalscorer - Austin
 - player of season - Hutton

Thought it might be quite fun to look back on some of the pre-season predictions now the season is more or less over. Some of you in July and August seemed to be indulging in serious amounts of crack as more than 1 person had Swindon going up. I trust lessons might be learned for next season unless we get taken over by a competent consortium. I'm reasonably happy with my efforts.

Champions : Stockport -  can still win the league.
Autos : Salford (bad shout) & Mansfield - very much in the autos shape up.
Playoffs: Bradford (unlikely), Wrexham (likely), Walsall (in with a shout), Doncaster (need a miracle)
Relegated: Newport & Crawley (awful shouts)
L2 top scorer: Danny Johnson (woeful)

Swindon: Finishing 11th (possible but unlikely)
top scorer : Charlie (well, he is if you don't count loanees)
player of the season: Hutton (doubtful, flogged to Gillingham)

League Two
League Two winners: Stockport 2nd
Promoted: Notts County, Gillingham, Milton Keynes (Playoff winners) 14th, 8th, 4th
Playoffs: MK, Wrexham, Walsall, Forest Green 4th, 3rd, 10th, 24th
Who's going down?: Crawley, Morecambe 7th, 12th
Division Top Scorer: David McGoldrick 13, third highest scorer at his own club

Swindon Town
Where will Swindon finish?: 9th 20th
Top goalscorer: Rushian Hepburn-Murphy 6, fourth highest somehow
Player of the season: George McEachran Seems unlikely, but he is at least still eligible...

A monkey with a typewriter would have done better. FGR in the playoffs a particular stinker.

I think your effort isn't drastically terrible Nemo. If Walsall end the season well you'll have 3/4 play-off sides predicted.

My Picks

League Two
League Two winners:
Notts County
Runner Up:
Bradford
Promoted:
Stockport
Promoted via Play-Offs:
Wrexham {it's a fairytale innit and this gives them even more air time of course}
Play-Offs:
4th Gillingham
5th Wrexham
6th Doncaster
7th Mansfield

Who's going down?:
Ya mum - 23rd Morecambe, 24th Crawley
Division Top Scorer:
Paul Mullin - 21 goals

Swindon Town
Where will Swindon finish?:
In ya mum - 8th, by just one goal difference  Roll Eyes Crying
Top goalscorer:
RH-M {or someone not signed yet Hmmm}
Player of the season:
Liam Kinsella

Can't say it was a bad or good guess, the promoted/winners one seems to be fairly similar from most of us across the board.

No one really would expect both Barrow and Crewe to be real challengers and of course we all seemed fairly optimistic. I will say though, this was with the gullible impression and promise that the lying aussie cunt Clem would have the funds to build a promotion chasing side...

Not sure anyone really predicted Crawley to be anywhere near the top 10 and the relegation spots weren't offered to either FGR, Col Utd or Sutton I don't think.

Stockport was the mainstay with either auto promo or winners selected by most, as was Wrexham which due to no shock of them spending quite well. I think Notts County would have still been there or thereabouts, had a great first half of the season and then everything built was dismantled in front of them. Shame for them really. Their side in the first half of the season was great, completely polar to that now.

The only person I can see who predicted a really poor finish {but still better than where Town currently are} was BoA Vagabond with 16th I think.

Can we still have Kinsella as PoTS...a choice by several, including myself  Crash
