vague recollection of seeing Darren Bullock try one once.
I have vague recollections of Darren Bullock being a bully and a thug who could barely even pass a ball at times.

I would have thought DJ would have been the sort of player to have attempted/pulled off a rabona during a Swindon game surely?
It is the sort of thing he would maybe have tried but I saw every match he played for us and don't remember him doing it, he would thrive in this side we have now in the Barry role if Power didnt see a million pounds dangled in front of him by Charlton!

Don't think he's done that much at Charlton has he? Potentially injured but I haven't seen him a lot in their match day squads.

He started badly then got better and then went off the boil earlier in the season but has been their stand out player since Christmas apparently according to their forum, he loved it under Johnnie Jackson so now hes been sacked maybe the new manager won't rate him and we can have him back!

My cousin is a Plymouth fan and he said he tore them a new one when they played in November.

I don't remember him ever doing a rabona but he pulled off a brilliant rainbow kick (back-heeled over his own head) to waltz past someone on the touchline once. Remember that?

His best ever game in a Swindon shirt.
First half he was simply unplayable. Unfortunately like so many talented players he was a one in five game genius..

He did indeed and he often tried overhead kicks and Cruyff turns etc but I don't remember a Rabona, could be wrong though.

RE: Rabona

I imagine someone like Mehdi Kerrouche, Massimo Luongo or Yaser Kasim.
Maybe even Anthony McNamee or Hameur Bouazza.

I reckon one of them might have done a Rabona!

John Swift was so one footed that he must have tried one at least once.

Had to actually look him up then. Totally forgot him. Its like a lot of the Power era was a fever dream.

imagine a team with Darren Bullock, Steve Foley, Steve McMahon, Brian Williams, Sol Davis & John Gittens😀

And Kammy and Shaun Taylor. With Chalky and his viciously sharp elbows up front.

Yep. And possibly Hal Robson-Kanu had to be the type to present a cheekily dinked Rabona at some point!

The way Jonny Williams was blindly backheeling and laying off passes v Walsall, he might well have attempted one but alas, Egbo was the man!
