I'd be surprised if the clubs which are showing their games are going to hassle and expense suggested here?

Someone on here with a laptop and VPN could connect it in The Legends Lounge with a HDMI cable.

How difficult can it be?

Absolutely, if the other clubs can do it then why cant we?

Given the M6 closure, my plan is to drive up the M5 and park one stop down the trainline at Tame Bridge Parkway, avoiding the m5 and only a few minutes on the train to the Bescot. For anyone with local knowledge, sound sensible?

This is what we plan to do also.

it's the legality rather than the technical side.

if they got permission from ifollow (and whoever) to do it that way it's a 10 minute job to do 1 screen

also  surprised Vale and Northampton can do it, yet we can't

Per the statement, it isn't: the league were happy to greenlight it but the cost/technical side of doing it in the LL was too much on short notice.

Don't want to lambast the club at all, but seems like we left it a bit too last minute to reasonably organise.

I wonder whether its just a case of leaving planning it too late. I note that Port Vale were advertising it on Tuesday, whilst the Northampton one seems to be a big screen in the ground rather than just in their equivalent of the LL https://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/2022/may/beamback_faq/ ?

Edit - beaten to this by post above.

It sounds like the club missed a bit of a trick here with the beamback given that Northampton and Port Vale have managed it. Northampton have sold £140,000 worth of tickets and with 1,400 people buying food, drink and merch are surely going to be able to make a profit. Obviously Swindon can't offer the same number of people in the LL, but with a bit of forward thinking could have maybe done something in the Cricket Club or even the car park.

Anyway, moot point really as we haven't.

In fairness we left it a bit last minute to have something to play for on Saturday…!!!

It's actually £14,000 as tickets are an Ayrton Senna.
