If we win at Orient on Tuesday we will equal the club all time consecutive away league wins with 6, a total that Macari got us to in 1986.
My mates running the line in this one so freebie tickets! Therefore,we will probably lose

Well I'm back,  in cirencester for the night

once the game settled we started far the brighter and after Simpson scored I thought we'd push on. But that slowly came undone. Like Harrogate they denied us space and we didn't know what to do. An equaliser duly came but this was our own fault, an out of sorts Williams misplaced a pass, they broke down or last, nice cross in and a simple header for their real centre forward. not much defensive pressure from us though.

second half Walsall started brightly and always seemed to have a man over on the wide areas

but we grew into and started to take over a bit. A deep cross looked to have been overhit, but it was kept alive and KKH cooly slotted home.

after that we started to struggle again and we can't under a fair bit of pressure with Walacott saving our bacon among others . At times we looked very stretched and vulnerable.

but a win is a win. bring on man United away (or bloody Hartlepool)

A bit of perspective from the home end today, plus some ok'ish match footage. The lad praises the away following at the end, so good on him.

Would have been home at 6 if I didn’t have to drop my lad off at Stratford.
Easier to get to Dynamo Warsaw then a Swindon home game.
For the record I like the Black Country folk, always have done as done plenty of work up there a few years back. Even this despite a steward trying to remove my flag.
Walked down and politely asked him what he was doing?
He said, Eets blocking tho Advertising?
I said it’s not, pulling back the flag, “look nothing behind it.
He said, “ Yow alriote I’m from Wolver’ampton and Carnt sey.

Was fine and left it alone. I’m sure you might see it behind the goal Smiley

Took my son to his first away match today, cracking atmosphere in the away end topped off by a winning goal in front of the Town fans, couldn't ask for more.

Did anyone else see the Town fan on the pitch after our 2nd? The guy jumped into the pile of players celebrating on the ground, threw his arms round McKirdy and gave him a massive bear hug, steward couldn't get him off of him.
I fear with that and the smoke cannisters the FA may not look too kindly on us.

Could easily have got a 3rd when JML broke late on, an easy pass to Simpson would have put him 1 on 1 with the keeper but instead he kept it, took on 2 defenders and lost the ball.

Spoke to some Walsall fans after the game, decent bunch who were very complimentary about our style of play and away following.
