Disappointed to say that I won't be able to attend the fixture tomorrow. Despite a negative PCR test I have decided not to attend as a number of my offspring tested positive.

And how many of said offspring do you have at the last count?

I see the Town End side block of the Arkells has just been opened for the first time this season.

I just sat through the last 6 games highlights of Rochdals matches and they do try to pass the ball, they pack out the defence with 5 defenders and defensive minded midfielders but didn't look like they were overly quick on the counter.

They though look very susceptible to any players running at their centre backs who look quite clumsy and slow.

Much like us they play a possession based football with a lot of short passes between defenders and midfield and rarely let more than 1 goal in almost every game except for Burnley who took them apart 4-1.

Here are their stats from the last 6 games, a run of DLLLL

Mansfield away drew 1-1
59% possession
11 shots
3 ot
429 passes
73% accuracy

Burnley away EFL lost 1-4
47% possession
7 shots
2 ot
425 passes
75% accuracy

Oldham home lost 0-1
68% possession
8 shots
2 ot
510 passes
79% accuracy

Bradford home lost 0-2
58% possession
15 shots
1 ot
477 passes
75% accuracy

Port Vale PJT away lost 0-1
45% possession
11 shots
1 ot
408 passes
74% accuracy

Crawley home lost 0-1
52% possession
12 shots
3 ot
429 passes
68% accuracy

------------------------
By comparison here are Swindon stats for the last 6 games LDDWWW.

Port Vale home lost 1-2

Colchester home drew 0-0

653 passes
84% accuracy

Bristol R away won 3-1
65% possession
16 shots
9 ot
545 passes
85% accuracy

FGR away won 2-0

Plymouth away PJT won 3-1

I have never predicted a win and never will!

Last season I was far more often right than I was wrong though!

For some reason I think Swindon struggles to score with packed box.  I’m thinking 2-1 with the roaches scoring on a counter after a set piece.

I think that the goaltenders will have to fend off a number of field goal attempts.

0 1 defeat or at best 0 0. Gradually, we'll become a good away side, nervous at home.

The players should be full of confidence so nothing to fear just get at them from the start and hope for an early goal.
