I think I'd find it difficult to pick a MotM there. Thought it was a good team performance.

Energetic start then head dropped when we conceded. Confidence built after a couple of saves by Ward and a HT pep talk. Improved again in the second half and then looked awesome after the substitutions.

92nd minute winner for Arsenal kids means we’re not yet through to next round.

Plymouth fans getting their excuses in

‘Nothing competition. Not bothered. Run out for the youngsters.’ Playing against seasoned pros was my favourite!

Let’s hope they pick themselves up for the weekend trip to the piss stains.

Scott Lindsey:
- Want to create a winning environment
- Got minutes into players who haven't played much
- Chance to see them from a coaching perspective
- Played against a stronger team than we thought we'd face
- Played good football at a good intensity
- Spoke about making runs behind them at half time
- Great ball, run and finish
- Practice every eventuality in training. Try to teach how to work out teams and problem solve
- JML did what he's good at. Good pace and runs in behind. In first half we came too deep
- McKirdy: Exciting and makes things happen. Works hard. Please with him
- Really strong squad including younger players.
- There will be moments when we need these players
- Coming up a strong opposition is good
- Dabre is more of a winger than wing back. Can be done if you balance it up properly
- Dabre up against 200-300 game experience player did well
- Cowmeadow: Good to bring academy players in. Cowmeadow has done well in training
- Odimayo felt his hamstring a little
- Wollacot: No surprise he was in the Ghana team. He's a good keeper. Fair play to him
- Numbers back at the weekend. Will assess when they come back on Thursday
- Not surprised we have difficult decisions to make on Saturday.
- We have built a strong squad with competition for places

I liked seeing these compared to when the lineups came out

Really good team. I’m hoping for a win tonight to get back in contention to see if we can progress in this competition. If we were to go up this might be our only chance to win a trophy for a long time (hopefully).

Law, Mayor, Randell, Camara, Edwards. They could do some damage if they 'click' couldn't they??

Shows what I know... nothing!
Looks like we're going for the win

Well worth the tenner to watch. would never have done that the last few seasons but i like the way our C team can still play the same football and will generally be a good watch. Very nice for confidence and game time for those that aren't going to get a look in the first team for a while. some very good performances

Jury may be out for some on Garner, but Ben Chorley seems to have done superbly.

My take on Garnerball is that he knew we were behind on fitness so encouraged a very keep ball at all costs approach until we got up to full speed, we've now been pressing more and are looking to be more progressive with our passing.  Hope we continue to improve as the signs are good at the moment.

Next test will be to see if we can do it at home.

I'm about 150 degrees through my 180 on Garner. A couple of convincing home performances will complete the U turn...

I saw Steve Jenkins score a goal, once.  I think McKirdy has scored more so far than Jenkins did for the Town.

Excited about the win!!  any win is a good win...BUT i missed the last 2 goals because my fucking students think i need to educate them...what balls they have.  to expect me to teach during class is just asking too much  Cheesy

hopefully this give the younger players confidence and continues to rebuild the club
