Got a season ticket but not able to go as away on holiday.   That shit Power has got a lot to answer for,  booked the holiday thinking he'd still be here so wouldn't be attending until he left  !!.
2-0 to the Town,  envious of all those able to go, should be an electric atmosphere, enjoy the day.     COYR COYR

Expect a 4-0 thumping defeat like Wellens' first game to bring us crashing back down to earth.

2-1 Swindon 8,700 with 480 Carlisle fans who do take a decent following away across the country

Carlisle is a very passionate football town - so they will bring 500

If Covid never happened I'd be disappointed with less than 10k
But a lot of people will be nervous,so 8k will be a fantastic achievement

I'll go 2-0 Town

Why are people saying some people are nervous? I’m yet to see one football fan say they are worried about returning to football, let alone it knocking 2K off the gate. The last time we played them at The County Ground we won 3-2 watched by a crowd of 7,024 of which 298 were Carlisle fans.

Some people will naturally be nervous, especially the older generations. Maybe change the chant to “I’m Swindon till I die but I don’t want to die watching Carlisle”.

I think the nervous ones as you put it should be those below 40 who have not had both jabs. I’m not sure ‘especially the older generations’ are naturally nervous either, cautious maybe. In any case one can still wear a mask to minimise any lingering possibility of being infected.

I’m not nervous about the covid aspects, but I’ll imagine a lot more people would wait until later than usual to purchase tickets to reduce the risk of having to miss out due to self isolation

That's what makes me think we will see more walk-ups than usual on Saturday.
