That's piss poor as Charlton would have had a decent following which makes it even worse.

Lots of positives today. To see queues out of the back of the DRS was fantastic. To see the ground with a new lick of paint, and with the Alan Mac Town End nice and full. It was also my daughter’s first game, and at age 3, she managed not to ruin it, and in fact loved every second.

Good and bad on the pitch, if we were to judge this side as a “normal” team that has had a pre season, we might say they looked disjointed and leggy and too many players that seemed to be consciously avoiding getting stuck in (Conroy, Grant, Gladwin). We’ll just take time and those players need time together. KKH is a different level, Iandolo looked very bright when he came on and is worth a start on Tuesday, Crichlow looked decent too. There was a moment early on when Gladwin just glided past two of their men and got a shot away - get him fit and he could be so valuable. McKirdy is clearly going to be marmite. Takes 7 touches when 1 would do. Could do with being more Jack Payne. Can’t fault him for effort and he’ll have his moments. Have to remember Simpson is only 19, and the key to this season is going to be the two strikers we sign to be sat on the 6 yard box waiting for pull backs for those occasions we got in behind in the second half and players blazed over.

Bring on Tuesday.  Credit to Rob Angus and co for the work over the past few weeks to get to here.

Loved today. Pissed off with queuing for a beer at CGH and in the groun, but hey that's what it's all about. Kids loved it. They are shattered!

The biggest thing that annoyed me? Swindon Fans. Always moaning. Moaning at players. These players have not known each other for long.

We didn't deserve to lose today, but lacked the end product to deserve to win it.

Striker needed.

Would go with this.
Not worried in the slightest after the past 3 weeks and without doubt more to come when fitness levels have improved and a better understanding.
Ohh and of course need a supporting striker.

The bottle top thing is a health & safety thing I believe. I had one in my pocket ready for this situation and simply screwed it on moments after the young girl in the kiosk removed the original. I’m such a rebel.
