Not sure if this goes here, but the ITK Twitter account that leaked the news about Smith and his ACL going has been deleted. Sounds like he got a bit too ITK.
Let's consider a hypothetical, if Clem agrees to fork out for a Smith replacement if necessary, presumably the price will go up with the seriousness of the injury. That would be consistent with the Holloway post-match interview, where he wouldn't comment on the nature of the injury. Obviously, a medical diagnosis will take a day or days to establish, but at the same time the physios should be able to make an informed guess as to the type and seriousness of the injury. While the ITK Twitter account tweet was probably speculation presented as fact, it is apparent that Smith will be out for weeks or months, with the Town obviously not having a direct replacement. So, I don't think ITK were ITK, but you don't have to be to assess the situation. If the club are vague in the coming days regarding Harry's condition, I would expect more transfer activity before the window closes. If not, is it a matter of 4:3:3, through balls, and minimal hoofball? On a wider issue, investment in the transfer market may mean that there is some thought being paid to selling the club, as league position thus home gates would have greater consequences. It would be great to be truly ITK.
