I would absolutely love to know the timeline of when the inspection was done, when the work was highlighted as needing to be done, when it was actually done & how long ago yesterdays final inspection had been planned in for…

I think we’ve all done it where we’ve left something like an MOT or car tax or a gas bill to the last possible day.

I’d like to hope it was planned this way - rather than it being a legitimate last minute panic rush.
Reputation would indicate the later.

Not sure if a FOI request can be put into the council for this sort of information ?

I’m not usually privy to this kind of information, but I’ve been asked to pass on, by someone who is well-informed, that the matchday medical provision has been reduced by around 25% as a cost-saving measure (allegedly). Make of that what you will.

Did anyone else see the new electronic board it’s tiny surely they could’ve got something bigger than that
Yes. I think they are in beginner mode because it simply displays the team crests and "come on you reds".

Not entirely sure what it is going to give over the proper score board. Maybe teams and clock at some point, but as observed it's a bit small.

Thank god there were no immediate medical concerns last night!

Medical provision doesn't necessarily mean players medical provision.

Maybe we cut crowd cover back to legal minimum. Who knows

And is cutting crowd cover back to the minimum a good thing? I know budgets are tough but looking after paying customers is a priority for many other clubs, you would assume

From what I understand (and I can find out more) it mainly impacts stadium safety, not player medical provision. But in a scenario like a player breaking a leg and somebody in the crowd simultaneously experiencing a medical emergency (unlikely I know but not far beyond the realms of possibility) it could impact both.

If we assume the medical provision was already close to the minimum required, 25% is potentially a significant cut.

Didn’t know you could cut back any more than not paying bills, I suppose at the least the unpaid bills will be smaller this season.

First visit to the CG this season.  Sat in DRS.  Tannoys completely useless (as usual!) where we were sat.  Couldn't hear the safety test annoucement before the start, and had absoutely no idea on the names of subs as they were made (and I had forgotten my glasses so I was struggling to read the bloody number on their shirts).  Was the first time I had taken my son's girlfriend to a game with him.  Honestly felt embarassed walking around the ground before hand considering the overall state of the place. :-(

We're in the 120's and the tannoy was not working for the first half of the Cambridge game, but have been OK ever since. They probably unplugged yours so ours would work Wink

All these issues but putting a poxy tiny scoreboard in the corner sums up these cunts.

The clubs a fucking laughing stock.
