Question for Sam M, Andrew Hawes and Joe Acklam, if they are reading. When Holloway gets the facts so obviously wrong, when is the point you attempt to correct him, or is it all just good content?

To be fair to Holloway, Clem told everyone else several times that he gifted half of the ground to the Fans. I’m sure he actually believes it.
It was only when someone pointed out to him at one of the fans events that the money actually came from the Eady Trust that he gave them any credit at all.
Maybe someone from the Trust should point out that Nigel Eady (a fan) actually gave half of the ground to the club, rather than the other way around

With regards to this bit - to develop the stadium, commencing with the Stratton Bank or a project of a similar size, within three years. When it refers to 'a project of similar size' this is quite a vague statement, could Clem and Co, by wheeling out the school TV with VHS and dumping it on the crumbling Stratton Bank claim they have completed said 'project'? Sorry if this has been clarified before.

I think it stipulates at least £1M and that it doesn't include general upkeep and improvements

(Humour me here) So if the geography lesson TV/VHS screen cost 1 million pounds, Clem and Co could say, job's a good'un?

I think it needs to be a spade in the ground project doesn't it? So it would have to be building something/knocking something down

Is it feasible to move the pitch towards the Town if/when the town end is demolished?

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I'm struggling to think of the benefits of the screen to be honest, does it bring in income from Sponsodship? Knowing the crowd that owns us, we'll probably get floodlight failure as they've unplugged something they shouldn't have done to get the screen powered.

The Council are never going to buy the ground back are they, assuming they are like every other Local Authority they are beyond brassic and tax payers would never stand for it. As for interpretation of that clause I suspect it i considerably more detailed/precise in the actual paperwork and if not our learned friends have the scope to get even wealthier off trying to unravel what it means....

So Ryan Reynolds thinks we are an excellent club, perhaps he could persuade one of his wealthy mates to buy us....
