This one baffles me. Doesn’t Tyson Fury have a gym in the stadium? Amazed he can’t prop them up or put together a consortium.
It all seems to be a bit of a grey area, he does apparently have a foundation (albeit from google it seems to have a very limited public footprint) which has some space in a building on the ground site (although its not clear whether this is open to the public from what I can see), and did have minor sponsorship a few years back. Like so much with him, what he says (and the media report getting him publicity) and what he does seems to vastly differ, plus he is from Morecambe when he is talking up Morecambe, and then from Manchester when he is there etc etc. Locals seem very split on him TBH.
He's always implied he has no interest in buying the club, and who would blame him, albeit with his habit of saying one thing and doing another the next day there is no reason to doubt he may end up taking over tomorrow!
