FFS. What's their game here. Operation: blame the trust?
Where?

That date was most probably pencilled in as a placeholder as it's at the end of the consultation period, and the club have instead published as fact.
I'm not a clempologist but it seems more like a basic misunderstanding as opposed to a malicious one.
Doesn't help their assertion of being professionally run though.

See that the sponsors are giving their backing to the exec boxes - that will help make people's mind up, is this stfc peddling out anything they can trying to convince fans to vote yes.
I'm sure on the fans forum on Thurs evening there is bound to be something from Hall or Clem on why it is such a good idea

I mean it is a good idea. My concerns are with financing and execution, but the development makes sense.

This. There's appetite for it....that's great. Still can't be putting these fucking buffoons in charge of it. Don't suppose anyone has spoken to DOB about his belief he's selling?

Not been paying much attention, because it seems clear without the Trust leading this the vote is not going to pass, but what are the Trust doing here?
If there is no development then the council can rebuy the ground. Unlikely, but possible. At which point the Trust becomes what exactly? All its 'power' is as a result of the JV.
If development is approved, even if it doesn't happen, then the value of the CG increases and the Trust have a more valuable asset (or 50% of one), and the club becomes more attractive presumably for investors or new owners?
As long as the Trust has some oversight into delivery of the expansion, which as landlords, i would think they would. Then i kinda struggle to see why they have not supported this?
Even if Clem loans the club the 3m for the development (seems the biggest concern), we are already in a position that Clem has more loans against the club than the club has assets, so does it change anything?
Sorry to say but i don't really care about peoples season tickets moving. You have been given 1 year notice, and an incentive. All development would see people have to move, and its just a bit NIMBY-ish to me. I get it, there is an emotional attachment, but its not a reason to say no to the development.
To reiterate, i have financial and delivery concerns, but i am not the Trust. Surely the Trust should be backing this?

The Trust existed prior to the JV. The Trust Board are remaining neutral until the end of the consultation

It’s not about the Trust backing it, the Trust is its members. If 75% of its members don’t trust Morfuni’s mob to deliver is then it doesn’t happen. Do 75% of members believe they will not make a mess of it like the Legends, club shop, statue park, ground maintenance etc. I doubt it! Do 75% of members believe this ownership has the financial means and competence to deliver it? I doubt it. Do 75% of members believe this wont potentially bankrupt the club? I doubt it considering Morfuni’s UK operations ended in liquidation and ongoing court cases so not exactly a great track record over here! Oh and of course do 75% of Trust members believe this development would be used for the benefit of the club rather than the benefit of individuals. I really doubt it! Under a competent owner this would get voted through I’m sure, under this lot no chance as they shown nothing to suggest they should be trusted, so I can’t see any reason to vote yes.

I do find that strange, you would have thought the board can put across their current opinion.

Totally agree with this - the trust are about as useless as a chocolate tea pot paralysed by indecision.

People are not likely to be swayed by our thoughts either way, but we chose to remain quiet just to let the information presented speak for itself

Totally agree with this - the ownership group have demonstrated that they are about as useless as a chocolate tea pot who can’t be trusted .
