But debts and/or money owed doesn’t increase a club’s worth - quite the opposite. My less cynical side says perhaps his valuation is primarily aimed at keeping the club out of the wives’ hands. Problem is, that also puts off any would be buyers .

I'd be interested to see our away attendances as a proportion of home attendances Vs say the Garner season, the Wellness or Di Canio title season,s,or even Sherydactyl. Just as a comparison of the 'hardcore' souls who want to support the team so much they travel to Carlisle on a Tuesday night but don't want to give any more money to Morfuni et al, and indeed those season ticket holders who are included in attendances even if they're not there. A know a good portion of fans chose to stay away once their trust in the current owners eroded, despite their love for the team.

Also be interesting to see a comparison of that as pre-Holloway and Post Holloway.

A previous poster mentioned
 luck...
Just possibly since Morfuni has been at the helm he has experienced some really bad luck.
Not saying it's not been brought on by some terrible decisions made by an obvious novice.
But just possibly the club does need to pay Standing his money back. Admin fees. Also, if rumors are correct the club should be paying a million lent to by a Chelsea previous Rusian owner.
You do talk some nonsense don’t you?! There’s nothing bad luck about lying to fans, involving crooks, hiring yes men, throwing staff under the bus and so on. If there’s anything in owing Standing or whatever that would be yet another lie and another example of misleading fans. There’s no luck involved just a dodgy owner!

Do you honestly think even with 10k crowds we'd get a bigger budget?

Even when we got bigger crowds after Morfuni took over the cost cutting started.

This 100%

I’d like to add a further view.

In a similar way that supermarkets use their EPOS system to determine non fixed prices. There are certain prices points for ‘branded and everyday staples’ that only fluctuate with suppliers promotional activity (if the supermarkets could sell every SKU at 100% of the retail price they would) and are their benchmark v other supermarkets.

Now other SKU’s like a new line that they see potential are tested with a price point of x if the product sees good sales, the price goes up a bit. If the sales still go up, so does the price. Until the sales stagnate and that price point is the benchmark.

Clem, saw this in reverse. In other words the crowds went up (sales) and the budget (price point) went down. The sales up to a point kept an even keel so the budget kept coming down. Until it was obvious to everyone that the two were unsustainable.

Eventually the crowds started to dwindle based on the quality of the product on the pitch but the budget kept coming down and that was blamed on the attendance.

In my defence, I’ve been on the sauce this afternoon. But I know what I mean 😃🍺

Why is it that when one of Clems fans or apologists come out with some utter bollocks and someone gets in to a debate with them they come out with this kind of vague waffle to end the conversation?

Virtually every time, its fucking tedious.

In response to your comment
Bottom line Morfuni owns the majority of STFC and as such he can do what likes. End of story.
Ian Holloway is putting out a team that is playing a brand of football that is currently excellent value for money to watch.
Either you accept this and enjoy the football or you don't.
For reasons, I can't attend however I am loving watching on Ifollow.
And yes next season could a special year.
For the record I very much support SO69 iews and actions so far.

What kind of bizarre comparison is that? So because former UK PM’s lied we should just accept things come what may as everyone lies, that’s a new way of trying to defend him. Bizarre!

Suggest you live in your little glass houses. Judging other people without ever achieving anything of worth except fucking moaning.

Sorry to say people like you really make me mad You need to grow some balls and make things happen. Otherwise go back in your shell.

And yes, you know fool well my point made between the British PMs that I mentioned and Morfuni.
