As well intentioned as these Trust statements are, the club just do not care. They do not give a shit if the Trust are angry at them.

I really feel like it’s time the Trust ramped up the pressure and called for boycotts, or something along them lines.
Because currently, nothing is changing and nothing is going to change until the club feel like selling is the only option.

As I and a few others have, starve them of money. It is their oxygen.

Getting the excuses in early for the close season transfer period with the "we have to spend some of the budget on the drainage, it hasn't been done for 10 years" should be a pre-warning of the proceedings

There has to be a breaking point whereby the debt will outweigh the resale value. I think it's already there. Some of our fans will wait until we're either in non league or the stadium is condemned before waking up.
Think I'll drop most of the games left this season, dead rubber and all that, it's a good opportunity to reduce funding them.

Just saw an interesting point on X

If Adam Hart is strength and conditioning coach - why did Holloway have to up the fitness schedules and levels of the players when he came in?

TBH from when Hart came in under Garner (IIRC) we have looked such an unfit team, always struggling late on in games with fitness. Its noticably gone downhill since he and the team arrived.

Finally under Holloway we look a fairly fit team, doesnt take a rocket surgeon to see where the problem was.

Exactly, I love a mixed metaphor and use them all the time as it seems to trigger some people Smiley

Just thinking out loud but I imagine strength & conditioning isn’t quite the same as match fitness / sharpness.

Next season will be the 5th one in succession in the basement- this must be a record for us and tells you all you need to know regarding this ownership.

Absolute best we can hope for is mid table in this league with them in charge in my opinion

TBF Barnet have walked the league so far and worthy likely winners, wouldnt mind seeing York back in the league, we have had some good battles with them down the years and have the nice new stadium to visit.

As long as FGR dont come straight back up, let them languish in that division for a few more years yet.

Wasnt the Barnet manager Dean Brennan interviewed for the job with us but turned us down last year? seems to be doing pretty well there TBH. 28 wins and only 5 defeats scoring 24 more goals than FGR in 3rd place already and only conceding 33.

With the loss of Carlisle and Morecambe, we could definitely do with replacing them with a few southern based teams

Looks like Barnet as being promoted champions of the National League, otherwise for the playoffs Southend United need some encouragment to finish high enough especially as a Forest Green victory at Wembley encouraged by their loyal support of a coupole of thousand might be too much to take.
