Maybe it’s just me, but I always thought any ground ‘development’ under the JV would involve the TE or the Bank - 2 archaic monstrosities that haven’t changed a jot since the first time I attended the CG in 1968 (plastic notwithstanding). Damning indictment of every previous owner.

Too expensive to do. Or at least far more then the drs

Well said.

Perhaps it's better to tinker with Hospitality Boxes than for Vanarama Clem to bankrupt his business and our club botching smthg. half-arsed with either.

I oppose this lot ruining the one good stand we have.

Leave ground redevelopment for an owner with a clue and a pot to piss in.

Absolutely sage wisdom!

The cost of doing the bank/TE would be a lot higher and I doubt it would improve revenue in the short term.

You have a point. However, the ‘development’ of the exec/hospitality boxes isn’t going to be cheap. Equally they have to be filled and earn enough to cover the build cost and make a decent margin. Then you still have to retain the fans who’ve had to decamp elsewhere. How many is that and what are the repercussions if a number (undetermined) decide to tell the club to Stuff it.

But they have to start a project worth £1m soon.

TE is going to be in the 5-10M category easy. It's clearly the best development opportunity but they can't afford it.

Moreover I'm glad they aren't stuffing up the TE or bank redevelopment.

Unless there's something unbelievable in the plans/unexpected consequences of not doing it I'll also be voting against the drs boxes on grounds of pointlessness and a complete lack of faith in competence.

I would have thought Nigel Eady would have wanted his £2m to benefit the average fan, not to line the pockets of already dodgy owners.

His £2m has benefited the average fan by giving fans 50% ownership. This has nothing to do with the Eady money, unless they are now funding this?

What tangible benefit has the Eady money done for the average fan? What do you mean it has nothing to do with the Eady money? How do you think the JV came into being? Surely you don’t think Morfuni has funded this?

The tangible benefit is owning and securing the freehold of the ground? That is a massive benefit for the average fan.

My point was is the Eady money funding this development?
