Rob, I can assure you the turnstiles issue was not a one off I think the Colchester game was the start, there are big queues every game now and definitely less turnstiles open now than earlier in the season as well as only the centre food area being open in the DRS, obviously cost cutting but then they run out of food and drinks, and complain we’re not sustainable

You just can't see open turnstiles you idiot, you are just a sheep, one that doesn't require any feed.  Now take your paid for ticket and fuck off will you, and not to the shop, we have a moat around that, and probably best to go around the Statue pit if you want to keep your footwear clean.  Fuck off the lot of you.

Maybe I am doing them a disservice, maybe the queues are an elaborate plan to force more people to watch on iFollow.  Maybe they have embedded one of those dodgy pop-ups that makes you click on their porn site - stfcladiestoiletpeepingtomxxx.com

Now the pesky fans have only gone and kyboshed that one.

Here James, still Clem in. 👍   The Trust is still only one opinion, and that's all it still is, an opinion. Too many orange hats in the Trust I suspect, their protest hasn't work so now going through the Trust, The Trust is basically a supporters club, nothing more.

When i said if you arent a trust member you dont get a vote for the redevelopment this is the resppnse i got

Quote
SBC will restrict development due to location and the close proximity of residential properties.  Of course the club will go through the motions of consultation with the Trust but ultimately the decisions will be down to Clem and SBC.

This is wrong is it not, there has to be a voting percentage and majority for works to be completed?

Clem and Hall would probably do a better job as US president and vice president. That’s how bad things are in the world 😂

It sounds like a confused process answer.

The Club, as leaseholder, are responsible for any development work to the ground.

The Joint Venture, as freehold owner, has to approve any request for development through unanimous consent.  The Trust use a vote to their members to gain their voting intent, Eady Trust and the Club can vote as they wish.

Any development will separately need to gain Planning consent from the local authority.  There are some restrictions in place that make carte blanche development harder, but nothing being proposed would likely fall foul of any planning restrictions.  The trees are a problem spot (from memory).  I also remember there being some restrictions imposed to prevent the Club from just sticking up a huge Apartment complex in replacement of the ground (alongside the Goddards Covenant on the land). although I could be describing the exact same restriction described in the press in two different ways?

We also know, despite  myths to the contrary, that a Stratton Bank development is entirely feasible as planning consent was granted for a smaller version of the DR back in the 90's.

The Ground has also hosted a Bookmakers back in the day, so other uses for the facilities can be approved beyond football club stuff.

And when you think about it, the car park had been operated as a fully operational car park by the Council for years.  Hardly being used for recreational purposes, plus we sublet some space for a car wash. or washing of something.
