Amongst the swirl of myth and rumour, I’d love someone to set out what we credibly think are the relationships between the hangers on, and their respective levels of power.
Morfuni, Austin, Hart, Keily….. Standing, Power?! Who has control over decisions, who has a financial interest, who is representing someone else (Standing, Power, Keily?), who are the allies, and who aren’t - or is it simply a case of bumbling from one fuck up to the next, happily, so long as the club can be used as a pass through for funds, whilst they destroy something that is, or was, so special?
Everyone dances around the issue on here. Some seem to know more than others. There’s no comeback for suggesting on here that the two of the above have done time for drug and money laundering crimes, and the legal owner has a chequered history of running companies into the ground and owing creditors millions whilst happily continuing to operate other companies in the same industry in his group…. and that the way that our club is being run is suspicious, so let’s get it all out…
The challenge everyone will face is that it will always be a mix of innuendo and slight truth, even if it comes from one of the gang themselves!
What we know is limited but I think gives a decent enough picture.
Power and Standing were sort of joint owners when Zav was involved. Zav is from the same neck of the woods as Power, whether or not they were good friends.
Standing got fucked over by Power and pressed it all in Court.
Clem got brought in by Zav before all that and equally started to get wind of the fact he was being stitched up a bit by Power. he also started a court case or two. Before the coup, he was very open about the reasons for engagement initially being the future ground development and how that could work for him with his business.
Zav chose a side and stitched up Power and Curran, who were trying to "sell" the business within themselves. Clem had the right to but at the same price and Standing agreed not to block the sale to Clem (we don't know why. but we can guess - because he lost his right to half the sale value and any input into the new ownership, in a legal sense). Zav was then given a doorstep visit that ended up with him being put in hospital, getting Clem to use the STFC PR to moan about it, but seemingly never being reported to the police.
Standing's business, which still has friends and family running it, continues to be heavily involved in player deals, as does Paul Nicholls, another agent from the same group back in the day and historical links to Power's group from Luton/Cambridge days. Paul has also shown up on the invite list of Directors from STFC, along with Zav and Hart.
Kielys involvement is odd, although probably behind Sandro originally. The linkage is not as clear, but he was obviously heavily involved in the recruitment side before the loan that never was but very much is and share exchange that didn't/did happen. The lawyer was also part of the old guard.
Essentially, whatever the motivation for them all being involved back in 2016, it remains. They just got personally fucked over by Power for a bit, then did him over, then he did one of them over literally, and now they all carry on regardless.
Clem continues to claim it's all on him, when it clearly isn't. Continues to claim it's his money, when it seems entirely likely (from other court cases) that it's actually him moving money from business to business and giving creditors the run around. He may not be a nefarious owner of STFC, but he is clearly not a good guy and he simply has to know what is going on around him.
In all that, we likely have a mix of ethically dodgy to professional incompetence and would have all sorts of organised crime alerts going off if we were a Bank.
