Who is that then?

I won’t name names, however the clue is linked to music!

The club are actively looking for investment. They’ve been courting a certain cafe owner in the town. I thought this was a wind up however I’ve seen a pic of the person sat next to clem in the directors box!
A Swindon cafe owner?

Are they looking for a sausage roll investment or something?

Not dissmissing/doubting you, presumably though this person has other assets.

Hopefully. I don’t know what it’s like now, but twenty years ago Blues made the best lasagna in Swindon. Which is standard match day fare, obviously

Jamie Cullum? He must be the only fan in the music biz, that we know of, with pretty decent net worth, right?

Also heard he makes a good spag bowl!

Just to give a little insight into how bad this could get long term

Colchesters owner has been there 18 years now.

2 relegations. 0 promotions.

31m debt.

Isn't keen to sell as he would essentially have to write that debt off, as he wouldn't get an offer anywhere near the debt value. They are losing 2m a year despite their academy doing quite well recently.

This could be us. We don't need investment. We need 100% change.

The whole finance implications of modern day football is shite. Clubs losing money in all divisions, the wage structure from the top has moved down the divisions, at a big cost.
Take a look at a small club like Oxford, crowds may be up 5k on their usual gates but it's limited due to stadium size (and fanbase  Smiley) What are Championship wages like compared to L1 and L2?
I don't think the future of football is rosy at all.
