The same party that offered recently, but this is just confirmation of that getting into the public domain.  That was one of several expressing interest or looking into the possibility.  I tried working with someone to identify potential USA investors, we got as far as the potential price tag and potential risks on the ownership/liabilities side (there are a lot of people over here with the funding and interest and ego all combined - but they generally want minimal legal risk/exposure).

Yes - current shareholding in MLS.  

edit - that's the one I was helping with, they didn't progress.  It's from those types of discussions I was aware of another potential buyer (there were a couple).  I do not have any inside info on their financial backing.

It's not unreasonable to expect there to be interest.  From discussions I had, multiple clubs are out in the market seeking investment, and multiple investors are floating around.  There are companies set-up over here specifically designed to seek those types of opportunities.
