Interesting to say the least.
Everyone is now fully aware of what a basket case we are, and know we'll accept an offer for any stars to keep the cash flow. It doesn't bode well but we have to ensure league survival.
I find it a double edged sword.
Do we starve the money but put off potential investors as they think it could go the same way for them. Or pack the place, vocal discontent at the ownership but support the players to prove we are worthy of better ownership.
Very much a horrid situation to be in.

There is no obvious answer or out.

Also boycott : Will it force their hands, or will it hasten our non-league demise?

Would fans be prepared to return if it was for a vocal protest?
Pack the place on his next visit perhaps and make it very uncomfortable for him
Trouble is there doesn't seem to be a steady stream of potential investors/buyers waiting in the wings.
That was kind of one of my options starve them off money.
Is it a case of better the devil you know?

Personally I think people should turn up & protest when Clem is there.
Make it public enough so that the TV channels show it.
Whether that be Tennis balls or something similar or a pitch invasion & sit in the centre circle.
You would need enough people so it makes it difficult for security to just remove them, this is what I think the problem would be

The trouble is as you put it, numbers.
You invade the pitch and you're not backed up it's a hefty fine and a banning order. Only you've lost out.
Tennis balls, anti board leaflets turned to paper planes and launched simultaneously. Or to no cost red card/paper. Vocal towards ownership but support of the players.
We're in a precarious position and something needs to be done.

I get nobody wants to give these chancers any more money but more in the door more noise against them. That will get local media attention if it's supported enough. Orange hats is visual but not everyone has one and would wear after a protest.

Indeed. I don't think there is universal consensus that we are in trouble anyway.

I think the best short term outcome is Ollie get us out of the trap door battle even though this buys Mourfuni time.

I fully understand those not wanting to go and fund them.
I also believe it will be to our detriment as to balance the books they will sell whoever they can. Which yes they probably would anyway, but thats not a guarantee.
The dwindling support is noticeable yet the noise that was generated to lift the players in the 2nd half was great.
Imagine a packed ground again, and all  (well a majority)united against the owners.
Like I said I understand those not wanting to go anymore but I fear that biting the hand that feeds you will not help.

Been there done that,  sat in the centre circle protesting against McMahon and finished up getting a ban for it.
Got to do something but something legal.  Protests may help but these are never loud enough and usually fizzle out. Do remember one beneath the Arkells stand pre match many years ago (possibly again McMahon) that did raise a bit of interest from directors etc. above however once again the police soon moved everyone on.  Don’t know what the answer is, appears like Sheridan, we’re just going to have to wait until he’s ready to go

Really is a catch 22 no win situation.
I’m enjoying the away trips (generally not the performances) for the atmosphere with our fans but it’s heartbreaking not attending home fixtures because I will not put another penny into those crooks lying and thieving mouths and pockets.
This new football administration person (25 years too late) may be tasked with weeding out unscrupulous owners but it’s too late for us who have had 20 years of it.
Living where I do with a large volume of Hereford supporters here - they all say they miss the football league but they are happy they are not in our position because unless they are somehow forced out it only goes one way …….

I remember that, it was before McMahon I thought.

Our gates are still well above most in the league operating with healthy budgets, even with a boycott in place for a lot of people. The issue is the crooks and why we're at where we are in spite of that.

No chance i'm funding it but I may return for an organised protest if I felt it had some legs.

I’m finding it ironic that when we were decent I was more often than not too pissed up to enjoy it. Now we’re shite I rarely have more than a couple of beers and can remember every single, shitty thing.

Welcome to my world of watching Town!

In my 50 years of going I have never been to a game when I have had more than 2 pints ever.

I tend to drink after games not before them.

Our gates maybe above most in this league but that is only on paper- think we all know what is really going on.
