These emails, tweets, pigeon carriers, whatever. They might not do much but at least they might give those with sense on the trust some ammunition against those with their heads in the sand.

Thanks for your email.

It isn’t the policy of the Trust to provide a running commentary regarding on the field matters, but we certainly share supporters’ frustration at recent results.

We do believe the playing budget put forward is competitive, but like most new sides, there is a bedding in period required and there are very recent examples of successful sides at this level taking a while to get going (Crawley and Bristol Rovers to name two).

We remain committed to working with the club on the matters outlined in the open letter, and from recent discussions, we are comfortable with the steps being taken behind the scenes. There should be an update regarding ground re-development shortly.

We acknowledge concerns surrounding communication, and we will endeavour to provide updates as and when we feel they are necessary. We continue to get into a working rhythm as a new board.

We would remind all supporters that they have had, and will have again, the opportunity to stand for election to the Trust board, where they can help to shape our direction.

Here’s to a successful season ahead.

Is this a reply you got or a reply you’re expecting? Falls far short of the mark

Can't speak for it being true but it would be consistent with the messages I received when I posted my complaint letter on here before.

There just seems to be no acknowledgement of middle ground between a running commentary and absolute radio silence. I don't want the trust to live blog the games, I do want them to acknowledge that progress against their open letter goals is, at best, minimal.

Assuming it’s a real response then the Trust yet again aren’t fit for purpose.

An embarrassingly dismissive response, they forgot their whole purpose is to represent the members and fans. Sounds like they are cosied up to the club again.

I think it's important to have diversity of opinion. My worry is that those who are more Clem positive find it easy to just write off forums like this or Twitter or podcasts as just 'toxic' and not engage with the actual reasons for us being unhappy.

Because we're such a shit show they can't reasonably defend it. Its the only way to go.

Sounds more like they're representing the club and not the fans. Bedding in period? FFS
