But this is DV’s point, which I completely agree with.
If said bidders go public, with the Trust backing, it then gets momentum. At the moment, it’s all hearsay to most people, and the Trust have gone back into their shell, almost agreeing and backing things Clem is saying.
I agree the ball is in the Trust court now.

I could have but I didn't.
Nothing personal but it’s all words. Absolutely no proof. Absolutely nothing in the public domain to back this up. Absolutely nothing publicly from the Trust to back this up. Absolutely nothing from the interested parties to back this up. How does anyone expect the fans to get behind something, to help facilitate change when the large majority of the fanbase just gets words on the internet that could be a complete fabrication.

If it’s true, and there are interested parties. The only person that is benefitting from this all being kept quiet is Clem. I’d go as far to say the Trust are in the wrong by not letting their members know of the interested parties.

Unless the interested parties have asked the Trust to keep it confidential. The Trust go public & they walk away

The world of STFC is as bleak as I can ever remember it, and I was at Brentford the night that it was rumoured we were being liquidated the next day.
I mentioned this somewhere the other day. At least that would have been quick!

Don't understand.. If the Trust were to get involved in a possible sale wouldn't this cause even more difficulties and confusion. Morfuni is a person with interesting views of the truth it seems. And any possible buyer would need to understand fully what they are purchasing or not purchasing. Simple fact is two is company and three is a crowd. As said before, the best thing the supporters of STFC can do is withdraw their financial support and help the present owners to decide to sell and move on.

Plus they need to be super careful doing so anyway - they have been burnt once with Clem's entourage appearing after they backed him so much

I just listened to the LSPOD with the interview. It's amazing how rattled Hall is from the first moment, defensive about everything
My favorite bit was when Joe said he'd been at the club a year. Went super defensive over that not being a year. And when is it a year...September 13th

I tried to watch the forum on youtube earlier, but the echo from the microphone was awful. Get some bloody soundproofing or something in there!

I listened to the LSpod and Andrew Hawes interviews. Whilst these are not the way the club should be communicating (it’s not frequent enough) they are certainly useful, because they remind me each time that I don’t think Morfuni has malign intent. Instead, they just confirm that he’s not articulate, and does not understand nuance, nor is he able to see things from other people’s perspective. He’s very clearly incapable of creating more than a wish list or a process or a loose concept. No precision, no plan, no substance.
But the Fitton link is interesting, particularly the Fitton quote that he is going to find out if they trust each other. Fitton would plug a very considerable communications gap. He would give an appearance of credibility. He is relatable, and can see things from the perspective of others and make sure that the messaging fits. But he would also, no doubt, be able to spot so many things that can be done better. But it’s very difficult to see Fitton being able to work with people so obviously below his level of professionalism and ability, who come from such a different background.

If there is a malign intent, it's not necessarily Mourfuni that's the one to watch.
Fitton - my worry is he'd be Angus'd. Fed rubbish and kept at arms length*. He's no mug, he can work it out for himself and decide.
*assuming he wasn't in the inner circle.

The potential Fitton link could work if it's a mentoring type role with parameters that have been explicitly agreed beforehand.
How willing Morfuni would be take & act on potentially unwelcome advice is the moot point. Depends on how far he is prepared to go to protect his investment if he is serious about sticking around long term.
