Not surprising considering how late the deal was done, but we basically have two of their generic match kits with our logo and sponsored ironed on and, I presume, something like a 125% mark up added to the price....

That's not to say I don't like the design and colour for the away kit in particular!

Don't like the v collar

I'm the same, not a fan of V neck on anything. If I am being ultra critical the sleeves look strange and there is something about the badge that i'm not keen on.

Shame as I like the colour.

Kit prices have increased and there will be a slight increase for the 24/25 kit - but prices will be in line with other L2 clubs - in other words we are going to rip you off

Should be a decrease  - it is is £17.50 online, I'm sure stfc will not be paying that, so lets say they pay £14 I'm sure they will put on a 150% increase when sold to fans

I found my 2001-2 season ticket, looks like it cost £299 which would be £544 in todays money.
 Was it really that much?

Indeed. Relatively ST prices have stayed very low, though that doesn't stop a lot of people complaining.

Shows how tough things are for clubs at lower levels where gate receipts are vital. Arguably ST prices should be at least 25% more expensive based on your numbers.

Was just thinking the same.
Until recently if memory serves the high point in ST prices was one of the Pogue McMahone seasons in the 90's.

Still a big deal in the lower reaches though & rightly so.

Read an interesting piece in WSC a while back that those who have usurped the fans priced out of the PL are also more likely to spend big on merchandise.
Maybe one of reasons why clubs at the top level are possibly not that fussed about bending over backwards to retain the traditional support.

At the top level demand outstrips supply, so they can keep putting prices up and still sell all the tickets. The interesting difference is that at the top level the percentage of income that gate receipts makes up is much much lower, because of the huge tv money deal. There was some suggestion post Covid lockdown that some clubs could end up selling cheap tickets just to keep stadiums full as thats part of the TV product, exposed by the empty stadiums during lockdown.

But its a real problem for lower league clubs.

Depends who is asking and when

Every time someone from another official agency (Karachi Commissioner, UK Foreign Office, UK college course sponsor etc.)  is involved, it becomes clear the club has been used in some form and it is not a personal venture legally linked to Zav Austin.
