I see Bradford have released their preseason dates, including a trip to Austria. What we doing?

Whereas we don’t know who the manager is going to be, what formation he wants to play so therefore what players we need to fit that. Normally we wait too late to sign players, this year it’s going to be August before we get Gav as manager because nobody else will take the job

Its a very interesting interview from what I have heard. It may open a few fans eyes to Clem putting his head under the sand and not being open to accepting help

Clem clearly came onboard initially with a plan to use the CG development for the benefit of his business. I think it's feasible that he got sucked in to buying the club when Zav and team turned on Power and identified a way he could so on the "cheap", knowing the freehold was a possibility down the road. I do not think he was advised, or put in the right amount of due diligence on the Debentures, and understood just how on the hook he was. I have no sympathy for him, he clearly is as much a chancer as the rest, based on his business behaviour beyond STFC alone.
We now have a reluctant owner who likely has some debt to those who orchestrated him taking the reigns. We have interested parties with dubious past records in life and other investors who clearly want their pound of flesh as well from this club. It's like leeches still trying to suck something from the skeleton.
What we can summise, by now, is that nobody is here for the good of STFC and nothing good will happen on purpose for our club while they hang around.
For me the elephant in the room is the ongoing absence of a more convincing answer to the question "So why is a plumber from Australia interested in buying a mediocre L2 club?" than "because I like football". Many (me included) were happy to get caught up in the excitement of the moment, and to believe anything is better than Power. The fact the club is now saddled with debt owing to someone with such a questionable track record in liquidating businesses to avoid paying debts is deeply worrying.

A snippet of the interview has Fitton say he didn’t know if the club ever get out of its mess. It will be interesting to hear

Interesting that Fitton contacted Morphoney to offer help and support and he didn’t even get a response. Says it all really about the people running the club

Well when the rumours are he isn't even responding to offers for the club, he's hardly going to reply to that is he?
