I notice Maguire said that Clem wasn’t on his ‘wrong un’ list. Makes you wonder if Clem does want to get out but he being forced to stay by said ‘associates’. I can’t see want enjoyment he’s getting out of this

The problem is that if Clem sells, Kiely et al get first dibs [ironically as Clem did with us]. If he is a good one, I don't see how he gets out of it, apart from buying the shares which he himself has said he doesn't have any immediate plans to do.

What’s to stop Clem selling his shares and letting the buyer sort out the riff raff

Kiely may well have first dibs on the shares.

Would he have the wherewithal to buy the 78% Clem owns? Especially, if Clem’s price is north of £10m. He got it cheap off of Power because Power fucked up. I doubt Clem would make the same mistake.
Tell them he’s selling for £10m and either put up or fuck off or have a new majority shareholder.

I could be very wrong, but nothing available suggests Chris Kiely has the financial clout to buyout the club.
I don't think right now is the best time for the Trust to force any hands, instead they should spend a few months developing the framework for several investment options. Then they come out and provide a couple of options that tie Clem down in public.

To honest nothing available suggests Morfuni has the funds to put in the value he claims he has either. Whether it’s his money, someone else’s or a spot of laundering who knows. Nothing to stop another rinse and repeat….

But he could be used to front someone else's money. I dunno, I think I'm getting paranoid

What gets me is if Clem is putting millions into the club as he claims - then why does he not employ decent people to run it - why is it being run on a tin pot basis by a sparky? You know if I had millions of quid to pump into the club I’d make sure I’d have the best person available to run the club for me. WEIRD

Id imagine the riff raff are what’s stopping him doing it

He/his business has moved money, and now has a debt in the football club. The potential claim from the creditor of his other business and the liquidator in Australia is that he is moving money about, so "his" may in fact be money owed to creditors of his other businesses. There are other ways money could move in that a far worse of course.

I think because Kiely is a part shareholder, the value that Clem “sells” his shares to someone for will also be offered to Kiely with Kiely getting first dibs. So Clem can’t get out cheaply as then it hands all power over to Kiely. It’s basically how Clem stung Lee Power

I feel this is partly the reason why Clem is valuing the club way higher than it's truly worth. Try and out-price Kielys affordability.
