I was so pissed off over it, i emailed the club this morning this was the reply.

Thank you for your email. We were passed on the video and asked to promote it from the company promoting the event. I don’t believe Basshunter slated the club, he was prompted to say where he was playing by his management team.

The video has had mixed reactions, some people find it comical like it was intended, and some have been offended. I can only apologise to you that this has upset you but I can guarantee that everything like this is only being done to help raise money for the football club and not try to alienate supporters.

If you would like to discuss in more detail, please send me your phone number and I will give you a call.

Kind Regards

FFS. Satire is supposed to be punching upwards not downwards. We are already at our lowest ebb and the club officials think we should laugh about it when it's pointed out.

Im pretty sure his name is Henry or Harry, or something like that. Fools Rush In Pod did an interview with him in the summer when he joined the club. Previously did the socials for Aldershot. Cant say ive been very impressed with his output at all. This latest one is fucking embarrassing and unprofessional.

He also did the Ruddock thing, he’s clearly a complete tool!

Henry might have 'Head of Media and Comms' as a job title but this isn't on Henry...

Fair enough, but as head of media and coms he would be involved in signing things off though, right? Or at least things would go through him at some point.

That would make logical sense you would have thought...

Advisory Board notes! We are being spoiled this morning.

The Club confirm that season ticket sales are down on last year but the early bird purchase window does not close until 31st May so it is not possible to make an informed comparison at this time.

Club are reviewing last years on field performance which we agree has not been good enough and also the management and players going forward. We cannot offer any other information at this time.

At the JV meeting and following feedback from fans and consultation with the council, the decision was made to remove fencing around the proposed fanzone, this will result in no loss of trees or bushes. Revised plans have been sent to the council for approval and work is expected to start on the installation of statue and fanzone over the closed season and hope to have this open by early next season.

NH (Neil Hutchings, Trust Chair) challenged the current comms silence, especially given the commitment made at the Fans Forum to communicate more regularly with supporters (since the Fans Forum neither the Chairman or CEO had given any interviews or communicated with supporters, despite the Club’s worst finishing position in history).

This line is not followed by any commitment from the club

Basically, the club aren't ready to commit to anything on any topic apart from not putting a fence around the fanzone.

Certainly is more interesting than previous AB notes, although they've not committed to anything. Season ticket sales are clearly way down on last season - no surprise there.

Like how the Trust Chairman has challenged them on things and made sure they are fully aware how the fans feel and why.

Funny how they say they are looking to recruit a Sustainability Officer ASAP, but its not listed in the Careers section of the website. How do they expect to fill the position without advertising it?
