Just waiting on a couple more of the winners to send DMs with address details etc.
Prize packages should start to be sent out from next week.
As for other comps etc. I'm happy to run a weekly "92 Lucky Dip Snowball".
I will put up a thread/poll to gauge some interest. But main rules would be...
Entry Cost & In It To Win It FormatThe cost of entry will be £2 per week. With 80% to the winner and 20% to two charities.
You will get an assigned team for the first week drawn at random. This will become your "Lucky Team". Any subsequent weeks entered will remain your team throughout. Unless you don't enter one week.
This means, if you had Wycombe you would have to keep paying to keep that team in each weeks draw. For eg. Week 2, 3 & 4 you enter/pay £2 each week but Wycombe isn't drawn as the "Lucky Winner" = losing week(s), then on Week 5 you don't enter/pay £2 but Wycombe is drawn as the "Lucky Winner" = no win.
Essentially you have to be in that weeks draw to win that week.
Snowball ElementIf no one with a valid entered team is drawn as the "Lucky Winner" in a week then all funds will carry into the following weeks and will "Snowball" until there is a winner drawn. If the "Snowball" is won before the end of the season then the "Snowball" will be reset and a new Snowball Jackpot accumulated.
Winnings Potential & CharitiesPotentially if there were a full complement of 92 entrants then of course there would be a winner each week (as long as they entered that week).
The maximum available weekly pot (with all 92) would be:
£2 x 92
=
£184
With 20% going to two charities (10% to each), the maximum weekly winning amount would be:
£184
-
£36.80 (@20%)
=
£147.20 (that'll buy a few Sunday dinners)
============================
As stated though if we had less than 92 and only have say 50 entrants per week, then the max available and a representative e.g pot would be:
£2 x 50
=
£100
With 20% going to two charities (10% to each), the maximum weekly winning amount would be:
£100
-
£20 (@20%)
=
£80 (still a few Sunday dinners)
====================
If there were consecutive weeks where there were no winners then using the representative eg above - let's say there are no winners for 6 weeks and on the following week we have a winner. The Snowball Pot would be:
£2 x 50 (entrants)
=
£100
x
6 (weeks)
=
£600
With 20% going to two charities (10% to each), the winning Snowball prize amount at that stage would be:
£600
-
£120 (@20%)
=
£480
There will be if you enter each week, 46 chances to win a Weekly or Snowball Jackpot and the above is purely example so the prize funds for the Snowball could be much higher or lower.
================
Final Bit About Entrants, etcThere will be a relatively strict process on entry fees per week. Unfortunately, this is a part I don't really like to do but it is necessary. Due to the turnover of each week and other commitments, appreciate I can't be chasing potentially 92 or even 42 people each week for their entry fee. This means that all entry fees must be paid by 5pm on a Saturday, with each draw taking place on the Sunday.
I'm also aware that people can "forget" and do have lives outside of this and if people wish to, they can opt to buy bulk entries/weeks so they don't have to worry about forgetting.
You can also buy more than one drawn team if you wish but do remember that this/these team(s) will become "Your Team" and you still have to be paid up for both. Otherwise your entry won't count for that particular week.
======================
Ok, so if you managed to get through that, I will set up a poll to gauge any interest and we will then go from there.
As always, really appreciate your time (not just taking the weekend off to read this post) and it will be nice to continue some fun during the coming season, even if the Town had lost that week

Cheers,
Bamboohoo
