?Absolute Calamity!?

‘Bout time we reverted to a proper thread title!

I imagine an actual football match is on the back burner of many people’s minds with all the shenanigans.

Like most I’ve given up harbouring any league survival hope, saving all that for club survival.

How did it come to this? (Rhetorical)

Town kick-off at 3 and somehow manage to lose 4-2.

Though I think we have all given up, I wonder if the fact that its definitely 100% a must win will change our mentality and approach - go for it, do or die.

Then I remembered. Sheridan.

Any mention of admin sets the alarm bells ringing.
Doesn't always work out even when there are interested parties, just look at Bury and Macclesfield.
In our case I'd expect that the greed of the owner would ensure that a sale favourable for him went through.
As fans, any alternative options that LP wouldn't be keen on might be better for a healthier club in the longer term.

Will don the Trust STFC shirt when watching today.
Hopefully the chilli sauce stains from the accompanying large mixed grill kebab will wash out.

A visit to a new ground is always an occasion in the away day calendar.
Hope that we are both in the same league next season.
The new place certainly looks like an improvement on Kingsmeadow with the poor viewing and smelly away end.

Would expect our L1 status to be laid to rest with a minimum of ceremony today, but also wouldn't be surprised if there was a restoration of some hope come 7.15pm.

Kids TV in the 70's was good fun.
This lot could do with making a comeback, assuming that their burrows haven't been sealed away by the volume of rubbish dumped in the last year.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

A dull one nil loss with their goal coming from our unoccupied right back position as a dedication to Reg.

First game of the season I'm not going to bother with. I will look for the score later this evening but will only give it a cursory glance and a muttering ffs.

Fuck you Power.
Fuck you Sheridan.

I will watch because its already paid for, I think we will lose, I have lost total faith in them and doubt I will post much unless we somehow look like we are trying then I may get a little enthusiasm, as it stands I will not be even giving it my full attention as they don't deserve it.

I have paid to watch. I suspect that this will be the last time this season.

Not interested, lost all faith.  Already resigned to relegation.  Just need Sheridan and Power to fuck off. Nothing else to be said.

This is the least interested in a Swindon game I think I have ever had, it all seems irrelivant at the moment. Lack of interest, lack of effort, just lacking.

Very similar - Paid for the rest of the season. I can't see where the next goal is coming from. But I can see where the next defensive mistake will occur. I think we will lose. Probably go 2 goals down and then huff and puff and flatter to deceive while Wimbledon keep us at arms length.

I just want the season over and the off field issues sorted so that we can start afresh next year - Probably in L2.
