Really? I thought he was very very poor with no end product today.
Yep, liked him when he was here but he made little to no impact on the game today

Think today proved that Sheridan’s subs and tactical changes in the past are nothing but baseless punts that have yielded the occasional result. Today was crying out for Garrick second half and not bringing him on just shows he generally doesn’t have a clue.

I think we will go down as I don’t believe Sheridan is capable of keeping us up due to a combination of his tactical ineptitude and petulance in selections.

PS: Special mention to Johnny Smith, he played very well. Who would think a creative midfielder could bring something to a game?! Shame he got injured. 7.5/10

He was shite?

Hartley:
- Defending at set pieces cost us today
- Had opportunities to put Burton under pressure for 20 mins in second half
- Pitman, Missilou and Payne efforts could have resulted in goals
- But didnt take chances
- Gave away one too many freekicks in second half.
- Should have learned from first half as both goals were very similar
- Finish from Payne was cracking. Ball that led to it from Twine was superb.
- Quality of passing in midfield was as good as it has been for many a week
- Crosses and final balls were poor.

Exactly the same as when he was here, ran a bit but ultimately doesn’t contribute much. If you took away his pace you wouldn’t have much of a player as he has no end product.

Sheridan just said we got undone by a long throw for the first. Wasn’t it a free kick?

Yes, taken by Johnny Smith, which presumably doesn't count as end product...

(On Smith, I can't quite get why people are so determined that he's either an underappreciated Messi or stealing a living. He's a perfectly average L1/2 winger/attacker. He'll have bad days and good but there's some talent there.)

Absolutely, no disrespect to him as I think he is a decent player who could well improve a fair bit but he had a poor game today.

Cheesy Cheesy Theakston, your always sour grapes 🍇 ... We won't say anything about the first goal assist that he did .... Smug Fuck Off

On the whole I thought a draw was deserved,  you played quite well in patches but set pieces on 2 other occasions could have been goals... Still, I don't want to see Swindon go down and hope you make it...  That manager has been a disaster ...

Sheridan
- Usually disappointed. Massive opportunity to take 3 points
- Something that we have worked on (their goals)
- Should deal with it a lot better
- Totally dominated the game after Payne's goal
- Beaten by 2 goals where players should know how to deal with it
- Massive 3 points lost
- Passed the ball, took care of the ball and looked after it
- We defended well other than the two goals which were diabolical
- Other than 2 goals we played well
- Tired of explaining himself. We told them what to do. They went out onto the pitch. Gave too many cheap free kicks. No hunger to defend properly
- It was their strength. Sheridan could see it coming
- Cheap free kicks result in balls coming into the box
- In the final third we should be creating more
- Massive 3 points weve given away
- All games are massive games
- Thrown 3 points away. Could have gotten closer to Burton
- Disappointed
- Throw in when clearing the ball. Too many free kicks. Sort fouls
- Subs: So on top of the game, we were controlling it.
- Basic defensive mistakes. People should do better. They know who should do better
- We did defensive training. Told them who was a threat yesterday
- You can blame the manager, but we told them who would be the threats and they were the 2 who scored goals
- Will take good things out of the game. There were a lot of good things. But, its the same old story, you are going to lose games if you keep conceding goals
- Overall we were in control of the game
- If we didnt win we should have got a point
- Iandolo injury? Hamstring.
- Will have to assess him. Looked a bit sore.
- Pressure? We have ups and downs. We've lost the game but the performance was good
- We will have up and downs. It may go to the last game
- We should have won the game and took 3 points.

Hartley part 2:
- All have the same feeling
- Opportunity wasted
- Passed the ball well
- Possession stats were good
- Used the ball well. But couldnt get it into the box
- Physically they were strong defending
- Sheridan name checked someone who did their job wrong twice and they scored both times (Grounds I think)
- No team in bottom 6 who have as tough a game as us on Saturday
- Need to go to Rochdale and win. That would make Wimbledon game crucial
- Getting something against Peterborough would be a bonus.

I think Jonny thought better of saying something to Sheridan after the first goal. He seemed to run up towards him.

Unfortunately, we all think we are going down. Today's result was another nail in the coffin.
