Question: Those of you that have had the jab in the UK, can I do a quick poll on which one? Trying to dispel a few bits of fake news out here. Thanks in advance.

Myself, my wife and her sister all had the AstraZeneca, I was done 4 weeks ago and the wife and sis in law last week.

None of us have had any side effects whatsoever other than a slight ache in the area of the injection from 2 days after for around 4 days or so.

Did you have the Flu jab?

The only reason I mentioned the Flu jab as those who have had it seem to get less side effects when they have either of the Covid jabs.

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind when I have gathered enough information to disprove the яйца (aka 80% on here) being spouted.

I had the flu jab back in September when it first came out yes. The wife didn't have one though.

The guy I know who had the worse side effects is a late 40's fitness fantatic, an Army reservist and it knocked him for six for 24 hours with fatigue, shivers and a headache.

did he have underlying conditions?

only asking because of his age not automatically being done yet.

if he got a 'use it or lose it' dose, fair play

No underlying problems and even queried it with the nurse on arrival and he was told it was because he's on the Army retained list and oten has TA events

The day I had it I went to bed before 8 and slept for 12+ hours solid, but I don't know if that was the jab or the fact I did a hard session on the bike the day before plus one in the morning before the jab.

Maybe a combination of both and your body just couldn't cope

Astra Zeneca last Thursday, felt fine at work on Friday but early evening started shivering and really crap. Temp of 37.8 but after a couple of paracetamol and a good nights sleep was fine the next morning. I had the flu vaccine in October

Had the Pox one last Friday. I have had the flu jab for 24 years.
Went to bed late Friday night feeling fine. Woke early hours with sweating, chills and tremors. Went on for at least four hours. Had a headache most of Saturday and then a bit sweaty Saturday night. Arm still aches but otherwise fine.
