AZ last week. Felt a bit groggy for a short while about 24 hours later. Similar with my wife. My brother felt pretty crap for a few days and he’s had COVID just after Christmas, so don’t know if that makes it worse or not.

AZ last Wednesday morning / very very tired Wed evening, woke up Thursday morning feeling like I'd been hit by a truck, aches, slight headache, painful arm, few hot sweats. Took paracetamol around midday on Thursday, felt fine afterwards and no problems since.  Had flu jab around Sept.

I wonder if taking paracetamol on the Wednesday would have helped your symptoms

Yeh possibly, I'm not sure if it was the Paracetamol that 'helped' or if just a coincidence tbh - Apart from being very tired on the Wednesday I was ok..

Tiredness definitely seems to affect many for 24 hours or so

My wife's had two doses of the Pfizer.

After the 1st - Sore arm / tiredness for 24 hours or so / funny taste in mouth.

After the 2nd - Sore arm. Felt a bit unwell in the evening following the jab. Mostly tired the next day. Then quite unwell on the day after that - shivers / temperature / tiredness. All spontaneously resolved and fine since.

AZ on Sunday. Sore arm, otherwise fine.

Found out that a couple of friends, both committed vegans, won't be taking up the offer of a vaccine.
On the one hand I admire them for sticking to their principles, on the other there is disappointment that they couldn't set them aside at this time with a view to the bigger picture.
They would have done their own due diligence and it wouldn't have been an easy decision given that both are vulnerable.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

I don't I think they're a pair of tits. There's no animal products in any of the vaccines, what's their problem?

Aren't people that were asked to shield supposed to have had the vaccine by now?

I got asked twice and haven't heard a thing, yet friends that are younger with no underlying conditions/weren't asked to shield are all getting invited to get a vaccine.

I was wondering what the vegan angle on the vaccine was. Testing on animals maybe?
