Honestly that's the only reason I can think of to do it now. It can't be much fun being the government at the moment and this will certainly shorten the pain. Sunak will be back in California by Christmas.

Thing is, I'm not convinced Labour is a golden bullet and Starmer, for me, isn't a charmer. Still, this lot have had their time for sure.
