5 guys and Byron are poor. You need to try Honest Burgers.

The amount of street food available in London now is unreal. So much better than restaurants/food chains.

Honest Burgers are good, but Byron makes me happy because they do an amazing chocolate milkshake.

Fries, Cheeseburger, Chocolate Milkshake are what I judge all Burger Chains by.

Its good to have a criteria to judge places by. I use lime pickle for curry houses. I don't trust the ones that don't do lime pickle.

This reminds me. I had the worst excuse of an Indian takeaway ever recently. Most of it went in the bin it was that bad. Bombay delights in dawlish. If you're ever down there and fancy a curry, don't bother it's dire.

The best burger I've ever had is at Almost Famous in Manchester. I want one now.

I lived in Leicester for 7 years.  Curry quickly became boring.

My favourite curry from memory was in Leicester after our FA Cup match there. Totally un-anglised (didn't recognise anything on the menu) and authentic (having been to India).

I usually try and avoid chain restaurents, however the hottest pizza in Pizza Express (ETNA) is something I enjoy every now and then. I find it consistently good.

No, but I had reindeer in Finland once. Rudolph was absolutely stunning, lovely meat.

Last time I had reindeer, my little girl ate half of it!

Reindeer's great, kangaroo's not very good, ostrich is pretty good, crocodile is interesting.

A nicely developing thread  Smiley

Anybody else eaten something off piste? Manatee? (although FB might kill you for that) Snake? I'm thinking Flasheart might have had some interesting cuisine in his neck of the woods.
