There's always whatever is in the bottle of novelty tequila.

I've had chocolate coated crickets before, it's like eating popcorn that is entirely loose bits of kernel. Gets stuck in your teeth and throat and all sorts. Horrible. Mealworms are okay. Not exactly great, but okay.

If anyone is ever in Newbury a rio burger is a must. Amazing, greasy, juicy burgers in as baby combos as you can imagine.
Very well priced too.

Colleagues sometimes go for lunch there. Might have to join them.

I had some cured horsemeat slices in Italy, it was like parma ham but darker.

Talking of parma ham, the piadina sandwich in Italy is fantastic. Basically a flatbread stuffed with parma ham, cheese, rocket salad, then folded and and grilled.

Had cod and chips from Trident Fish bar last night. Expensive, but excellent. All fish is battered and cooked to order in front of you so if you're in a rush, call up and order otherwise you'll be waiting for 15 mins.

There is no way of putting this that doesn't make it sound like an innuendo.
I'd honestly give any meat a go.
