It has to make you wonder about the thoroughness of the respective scouting systems when Brentford and Bournemouth's don't seem to consist of much more than driving an hour or so up the road.

If we do sell, we should hold out for the full price plus the £300,000 or so they still owe us from underpaying on Ritchie.

For his sake he needs to move on, Championship is his natural level at the moment and he must be an ambitious fella.

Probably could do better than Bournemouth but if they are looking safe by January then it would be a decent move for him realistically.

Shwan Jalal thrown in as part of the deal, he will be off as long as we get £1m in total. A fair percentage has to go to Palace as a sell on.

He looked fantastic when he had a strong defence in front of him. A good keeper but not irreplaceable.
