500k plus Ryan Alsop or 800k plus Jalal.
They've got 4 keepers - three of which are permanent but not good enough (yet, in Alsop's case) for NPC, so would obviously be keen to offload one.

It will be hard to replace Wes but if we get a good price we should sell. We don't make any profit, the crowds have gone down since last year and well, we need the dollar. I just hope we get a fair price for him, and that he takes as much as he can from that club until the inevitable happens and they crumble.
I dont think Bournemouth will be the only club in for him. I also don't think it's unrealistic that he might stay. He's number 1 here, he seems to be pretty settled and he's close with most of the squad. Not to mention the fact we are in with a realistic shot at the top 6.

Personally think he'll go in the summer if we don't go up. Would be surprised to see him go in January.

Unlike last year, I feel quite confident that if Wes gets injured/suspended/sold, his understudy looks competent. So it's not a complete disaster if he goes for good money.

Jed and Lee and have done a pretty good job in the transfer market so far. No matter what happens, I'm confident we'll come out of it just fine.

Tyrell Belford appears to have done pretty well in the matches he has had to deputise for Wes hasn't he?

Interesting measured response from everyone. There would have been a time when there was a minor implosion if it had been suggested that Wes was 'for sale'.
FWIW I think he is a decent keeper, but everyone has their price. I'm not sure what Wes's price is (or should be) be I guess there is both the fee and the wage bill.
Belford, although doing relatively well, reminded me of Steve Mildenhall. With Mildy, I wanted him to do well, but he was technically not quite good enough (imho).

Why is it always fucking Bournemouth after our players? Piss off! Accept Wes will go at some point, but just not to them!

Million quid, at least. Over the odds, yes, but then they still fucking owe us for Ritchie, the cunts.
I'll be disappointed if he goes, all the signs point to him being settled and a core member of the squad, and we're obviously going for a shot at promotion, but everyone has to go at some point and as others have said, Belford is at least a competent replacement (No offence to Bedwell but, you know...)- if we don't go up this year I can see, as others have said, him going in the summer. Deserves to play Championship football.
I do think Jed and Power will negotiate this well if it goes through. If nothing else because the goodwill they would get from the fans if they stick two fingers up to those south coast cunts would be immense. Let's not forget they might just be trying to buy important players to fuck up our season, like they did last year.

Nothing really noteworthy in a team being interested in one of our better players.
As a club that is still running at a loss all our players are always 'for sale' if the right offer comes in, but as they showed with the interest in Wes over the summer and then with the late bid for Kasim this board don't appear to want to sell anyone at any price, but have a valuation for our main assets.

I guess not having a sugar daddy anymore means we are back to being a standard lower league club who has to sell their best assets every now and again in order to survive. Most fans accept this

Yes..Seems to command his area and talk a lot but he's only had 3 or 4 saves to make in the matches I've seen. I don't think we know his true level yet, but so fat so good. If we have to sell Wes then it should be Wes true value + 500k, just to make up for the cash they stiffed us out of on Ritchie.
