Discarding my thoughts on the board and the uncertainty around that situation. If Kmac is given a budget of somewhere around £2 million we can still be competitive next season.
It's been said but Yeovil's promotion to the champ demonstrates what can be done. They signed Madden for £15k I think and brought in a few loans that paid off. I have faith in Kmacs ability to spot talented youth (based on his background), so maybe he'll unearth a couple of decent youngsters. Perhaps there will be a couple of experienced players coming in on loans?
If we can stay afloat financially I'm not writing the season off just yet, I'll wait to see what our squad looks like at the start of the season first.
I'll also add that any player that doesn't want to be here should be allowed to leave, we'll need a united front next year on the pitch and any player who isn't focused on doing well for the club can take a jog IMO.

There's no point keeping a player at the club that wants to leave. We may aswell cash in. Hopefully that money will be invested into the fuel cards to ease expenditure.

Read this earlier. So a 3.4 million loss the year before this season, surely even bigger this year. I thought we'd have learnt by now selling our better players never turns out to be good business.
Those who think we should sell him (fwiw I think we will soon anyway) will be the first to jump on my back when we're in a relegation scrap and I dare to suggest we shouldn't have sold him like that scottish bloke.
I think Flint will go and we won't replace him. Our defence is going to be worse off without Flint and Devera and that's a mother fucking fact!

He's done it with Dusseldorf in Germany though as well. The idea is to spend big to make the Prem then do not spend to strengthen and just pocket the parachute payments to write off the debt and then some. By this time they'll be a yoyo club a bit like West Brom (before this season of course). |
