I did see that….brilliant he didn’t even look to see where the goal was.
Sounds like a lot of our attempts.

Something many teams need to realise. Neil Warnock: You can have all the coaching manuals, all the university degrees, and all this, and all that. You modern guys, you youngsters, it's all data and all that.
But do you know 90-95% of being successful is man management... getting the best out of what you've got.
Whether you run a garage, a corner shop, or whatever: get the best out of your staff! That's why I've had so many successes.
Look at my promotions, we were never the best team, but you won't want to play against us.

Absolutely, Yorkshire man am I, I say what I want and like what I bloody well say! He is right though, man management and teamwork can often overcome a lack of talent. Macari and for that matter PdC both won titles with us with a similar theory.

Warnock must have had to change the way he managed over the years though. 'back in the day' a good kick up the backside and a right rollicking would get the best out of players, but nowadays I think your thinking has to be a lot more critical. Especially as you've now got players from all around the world and your staff have to have done their homework properly in order to get your group of players to gel, and how to get the best out of them individually.

Oliseh and Eze. Breaths of fresh air which will no doubt be extinguished when they move to "a bigger club " which will then put this in the other thread!

Not sure if its right or wrong but it appears that Port Vale will be the next club to be subject to a reality TV show owned by Robbie Williams. https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/robbie-williams-preparing-bid-buy-32006498
