I'm assume this was because he's moved to the hand choppy offy league for the money over principle.

I think it’s specifically their treatment of the LGQBT (I forgot the correct order)
A topic Henderson has been very supportive on in the past. I believe.

Yes - he has been targeted online as a result I believe, so booing is the least of his concerns.  He seemed a bit oblivious to the juxtaposition of the support he had bee giving the community only to sell his last season or two to a Country where it's not just frowned upon, but illegal.  I doubt Maguire has a fucking clue, probably thinks it's the same reason fans boo him.

Fun as that is, it shows how historically underachieving the South West is. I know it's not the most populous part of the country, and a lot of it is traditional Rugby Union heartlands without too many major population centres, but that's such a huge outlier.

TBH likewise with the North East, bar winning the championship a couple of times recently Newcastle have won very little in recent times bar the Inter City fairs cup the same year we won the League Cup!

It's still underachieving, but the underlying data from this shows Newcastle winning 11x the trophies we have. The South generally outside of London does very poorly:

North West: Liverpool (46) – 19 League titles, 8 FA Cups, 9 League Cups, 6 European Cups/Champions Leagues, 3 UEFA Cups, 1 Club World Cup

London: Arsenal (31) – 13 League titles, 14 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, 1 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, 1 Cup Winners' Cup

West Midlands: Aston Villa (20) – 7 League titles, 7 FA Cups, 5 League Cups, 1 European Cup

North East: Newcastle United (11) – 4 League titles, 6 FA Cups, 1 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup

East Midlands: Nottingham Forest (9) – 1 League title, 2 FA Cups, 4 League Cups, 2 European Cups

Yorkshire and the Humber: Sheffield Wednesday (Cool – 4 League titles, 3 FA Cups, 1 League Cup

South East: Portsmouth (4) – 2 League titles, 2 FA Cups

East of England: Ipswich Town (3) – 1 League title, 1 FA Cup, 1 UEFA Cup

South West: Swindon Town (1) – 1 League Cup

We've been cheated out of our Anglo-Italian there!

Don't disagree, its all historic as well, Newcastle's league wins were all between 1904-1927 whilst the FA Cups were between 1909-1955, took great pleasure when I lived up there reminding their fans that we had won a major trophy as recently as they had!

Genuinely surprised that no other team in the SW has won a major trophy?

Not really whats right or wrong with football but France 14-0 Gibraltar is a game that really shouldnt be played, there should be qualifying rounds for the lower sides like Luxembourg, San Marino, Malta, Andorra, Moldova, Leichtenstein, Faroe Islands and Cyprus etc. much like the qualifiers for the Champions League qualifiers and Preliminary round.

France had 9 different scorers and an OG on that list too.

And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out
