Its not a bad idea.

They should play in a league concurrent to qualifying with the league winner progressing to the qualifiers and the lowest ranked in the qualifiers getting relegated to the prelim league so its a different minnow every year.

Luxembourg would argue they no longer belong on that list, amassed 10 points in this qualifying group

The mighty Luxembourg are in the Euro play-offs! Staggeringly good achievement. They got murdered by Portugal in their group but held their own against the rest of the sides.

Who are they playing?

Edit - just seen. Georgia vs Luxembourg and Greece vs Kazakhstan

I don't expect them to get past Georgia and certainly not past Greece, (assuming they beat Kazakhstan) but they finished above Bosnia and Iceland in their group. There has also been a Luxembourg side in the group stage of the Europa league recently. They are a minnow for sure, but they are definitely punching well above their weight. (Rich country so I'm assuming a fair amount of investment)

This made me laugh, and the keeper deserved it, as irritating as players who grab the ball to make the referee make a decision when they think they have been fouled!  https://x.com/The92Bible/status/1729616569670520903

Blackpool vs Forest Green cancelled due to an FA investigation involving Forest Green

The Club can confirm Saturday's FA Cup second round tie at home to Forest Green Rovers has been postponed.

This decision has been made by the FA due to an investigation in relation to a matter involving Forest Green Rovers.

Blackpool Football Club would like to apologise to supporters for the inconvenience this has caused and is disappointed to be informed of this news at such short notice.

Further details on the outcome of the investigation will be announced in due course

In case you were concerned that we might be the only club that needed to employ a copy editor

Always heart-warming to see the club doing this stuff, regardless of all the issues.

Dropped off season tickets apparently. Sponsored by Ryanair. Tickets at face value. Extra £20 to sit on the seat. £15 to walk up the stairs. £35 to have access to any of the concessions. £10 per goal scored per game. £5 if the floodlights are on. £15 to use the toilet.
