Found it more emotional the second time round, a really good piece of work by Norwich.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67067513Could be on what’s wrong with football thread due to not many clubs adopting this approach, however it’s nice that we are one of the pioneers. No doubt Doughty was influential in his role.

Bellingham - what a talent. As I said a group chat yesterday, potential to be the English GOAT. Fantastic solo goal by Kane for the icing too.

We’re Messi and Ronaldo that good at 20? I’d say not. He’s absolutely ridiculous.

Ronaldo played 47 and scored 12 in the season he was 19/20. 34 in 53 the season he was 20/21. Messi played 36 and scored 17 in the season he was 19/20. 16 in 40 the season he was 20/21. …and that’s purely a statistical approach which is apples & oranges depending on position. Strikers always going to be more productive. The original Ronaldo with a September birthday scored just the 47 goals in 49 games the season he was 20…

The thing with Ronaldo and Messi was the longevity. Michael Owen won the Ballon D'Or at 21 (still the last Englishman to do so), but was almost a blusted flush (at club level at least) by 25.
