The simple solution to the underdog problem is to promote a randomly generated lower league team to the Premiership each year and give them 60 points to start with. They'll lose week in week out, but if they get 30pts. by seasons end they'll win the league. Then they go back to the league they started in and another team is randomly assigned.

Fucking chase that you overspending PL cunts.

You could be on to something there.

Make the PL a handicap with teams getting a number of points to start the season and the top clubs starting from scratch.

I can see that getting the thumbs up alright!   1st Place

I couldn't care less who wins it, but one has to admire the job that Brendan wassisface has done.

Very true, I was gutted when they appointed him because he is a first rate manager.

Congrats to Liverpool on the title then. Doubt very much they will lose it now.

A draw against Chelsea and its theirs. Even if they lose that one I'd be surprised to see them slip up from here.

I like the Hartlepool tradition of dressing up for the final away game of the season. This years effort was thunderbirds, which looks spectacular. Imagine if a larger club did that and you had several thousand Batman's or similar. That's what football is all about.

It is out of Liverpools hands now, if man city win today & their game in hand then they go top on goal difference ( i didn't know that but my son just told me )

Football is about going to away games dressed as Batman?

So, in that case, Liverpool would need to better Man City's goal difference. Meaning it's not out of their hands at all. But they have cocked up.

City have Everton away, Liverpool, unfortunately, still have a great chance of winning the title. That said great seeing Gerrard hand Chelsea a goal today.
