Hansen was a great player, not the best pundit but still a footballing hero for many, no idea whats wrong but I hope he pulls through.

Birmingham asking to play their league match vs Wrexham in the USA

At least the EFL told them to stick it

WTF?

x2!

edit: Does bring home the point though, once the Americans have control of enough premier league clubs to win the vote it'll happen...

If it ever gets to the stage where football becomes Americanised, I'm done with it.

Oddly, I think it's a partial reason for what is fueling the investments in the UK.  The franchise approach in the USA means options for investment are limited and the MLS is getting pretty good crowds these days.  The expansion over the last 10 years has driven interest, the reduction in kids playing American Football and finally the arrival of Messi have pushed exposure to a critical point.

A lot of the Birmingham fans seem all for it which is even more of a shock.

I suspect the long term aspiration is to Americanise football similar to the way they are with F1 and destroy the history in the name of profit.

Penalties with run-ups that stop and start. Lewandowski's just stopped and started 3 times on his retake for Poland vs France. There should be a rule that you can't fanny about - the kick is enough of an advantage over the goalkeeper.
